Growing up in rural Central New York, Chris promptly moved to NYC right out of high school and later earned his BFA in Photography from SUNY Purchase. After doing some time enlisted in the US Navy, he attended The School of Visual Arts MFA in Photo, Video and Related Media in NYC and still lives in works there today. While considering himself well rounded in practice and technique, he is drawn towards political events, breaking news, editorials and candid imagery for his personal work. He is particularly interested in working with non-profits and volunteers, rural society and communities as well as civil/public servants and people with humanistic leanings and exciting experiences they're willing to share. In addition to his media work, Chris is an avid cyclist and bike racer that enjoys long distance trail riding and the outdoors. His work has been featured in numerous print, and online publications such as Cosmopolitan, PDN, Feature Shoot, Bustle, We Call it Stitch, La Republicca, and Il Post.
